whose fault?

yes, the news was indeed shocking. The first thing that come to my mind was "what really happened?" As a final year student myself, i also underwent great pressures regarding my fyp. I wonder what made the student so mad to the extent of stabbing his fyp prof and then ended his life. He ended his life because he knew his life his future will be over due to his crime act.

The incident took place in NTU, and as i wonder in the past that i have walked past the same corridor or in future that i may walk there again...i think it is a really saddening incident to have occur in school. So the question will be pop up eventually.."what happened and why?whose 'fault'??" Now the student has died, prof injured. Can dead people speak up for themselves?or will the alive one defend himself and push the 'blame' to the dead? i doubt no one will really noe the exact details of the so-called "truth"except between the two of them.

people/newpp/media will comment the student as "rash","emotion overuled his mind" etc, but how will we ever know whats the extend that the student has been pushed to?to the brink of his mentality that he loses control of himself and commit the act. He used his life to paid for his act, and people will start saying"he should remain composed and seek for help or consult from the help-line councillors, friends, or think of ways to get rid of his troubles blah blah blah..."

As always, as usual, some helplines will be published under the news report for the others who are facing great pressures to seek for help. Sometimes, i really wonder what's in the mindset of these people. When something has been done, something has already happened, then people will start questioning and saying all the so-called "great" comforting things...have we ever consider the feeling of the person who is undergoing the stress? different people have different level of mental n physical tolerance level. yes it can be trained and stretched to maximise the level but ultimately, some people will still choose to go the wayward path. It's on spur?it's pre-made decision??

the above is just my thoughts, just take a look at the online straits times today and read the report. the ending paragraph was a pic of the prof n name and his achievements in ntu(like what he did, what awards he has won etc) so what does this imply? u tell me.
reg the student's info was naught. why didn;t the media report on his achievements but only the prof?

it's really monday blues. someone pls chase the blues away...i hope the news/media can find out the truth behind this incident. no matter whose fault it is, there always a motive behind every act. i believe so. last note to all facing pressures/troubles in life, think..really think before u act..ask yourself is it worth it? i do not question that student cos maybe he has thought it over and he is willing/unwilling/being forced to give up his life to pay for his act.
