An exciting 2015...the best is yet to be?
New year resolution.
I guess I need to list down some items for this new year?
Honestly I couldn't even recall 2014's resolution at all.
However, I have decided to set my mind to be a better person such as curbing my temper to flare up or get into confrontations with others. Calming myself down and talking in a much slower speed and steady tone. Think twice before I speak?
Sure, this resolution definitely is a challenge to me. Hmm, I think this will take quite some time. It will stretch to 2016 and 2017 and 2018. ehh, hmm ten years? hahahaha!
Just a quick recap of 2014 before I move on entirely to 2015.
1. I visited Bali in June, Maldives in September, Shanghai in October and Korea in November. Of which 3 were new places! Definitely a big highlight of my memories in 2014. Totally love these overseas trips as I get to relax, eat heartily, shop happily and appreciate the beautiful scenery.
2. Cyst off my scalp in September. I must be crazy and brave at the same time. Finally muster enough courage...i meant adrenaline after ten plus years to make such a major decision to seek medical treatment. The agony of waiting to be wheeled into the operation room was agonizing. Argh, I still have to bear with the after effect of the operation and took good care of the wound for 2 months.
3. Wedding photoshoot in Seoul. Finally it's like a dream come true? I always wanted to go for the Korean concept and indeed I was impressed by their professional services and I absolutely was pleased with the makeup and styling.
4. Finally settled the major planning of the wedding preparation such as the venue, church, gown etc Of course, there are items left to be settled but I am going to take my time. I must be one of the most chillax bride to be ever. Going for the most fuss-free, straightforward and SIMPLE wedding please.
5. My boys did pretty fine for their Chinese and most of them did reached my expectations. I am really glad that my effort did paid off eventually! Really adore my graduating form class and hope they will be even more amazing in future. Not to mention, the personalized gifts and cards from the students really brighten up my life not just my day. Faith restored in teaching again! YAY!
6. At last, time for a little internal promotion. It's gonna be real tough and I know it. Guess what, I'm not going to back down or escape. Face it like a woman and just do it. Why should I be scare of people talking bad about me behind my back or trying to get into others' good book when I have not been doing that for the past few years. A change in status does not mean a change in my personality. There are certain principles in life that I need to uphold. I am not the most tactful person but at least I don't make malicious remarks or do back stabbing stuffs etc. Don't like office politics and hate to be involved in any way.
2014 is amazing. 2015 is electrifying. That's what I hope.
